Psyche, Mind & Performance

The prophecy of an event leads to the event of a prophecy.

-  Paul Watzlawick - The Pursuit of Unhappiness, 1983

Typical strategy development, strategic corporate management, organizational development, executive development, organizational learning, project management or system processes need a new classification and approach in a business context - clearly documented from other disciplines of science.
Your business creates its own reality which you can consciously steer, condition and change. You can reach all your business goals, as long as you truly believe in them! And I really mean all! The sky is the limit! Do you want a company growth of 30%? Go for it! Again, your thoughts create your reality; you only have to believe in it 100%, set clear intentions and then let your will become action. As soon as you and your employees can dream about it, think about it, you will be able to bring it into this world.

Out of the box

Ideas and basic insights of modern physics, chemistry, biology, psychology, religion and mysticism complement each other. In my approach we will apply these insights in a business context and will combine them with your company and the knowledge of common economic leadership and management models. By partaking in this gigantic field of information you will be able to immensely broaden your scope and create strong synergies.

Neuroplasticity of the brain

cont-psycheThe brain is formed and conditioned by life itself. It stores its behavior patterns and experiences. Depending on the life the respective person leads, the brain will be influenced by these experiences and is subject to typical changes. The brain is dynamic and is continually forming itself anew, in reaction to the actions taken. Neurobiology describes this phenomenon as neuroplasticity - the ability of the brain to fundamentally change itself.

The mind has an independent power which one is able use at will. In order to bring about change, pure thinking is as effective as concrete action. One can break free from set thought structures. By means of mental exercises - mental training - the entire thinking apparatus, feelings and attitudes can be reprogrammed and new brain circuits activated.

The Observer Creates His/Her Quantum Possibilities

Physics sees the brain as a gigantic quantum computer and believes that mental laws can be described by the laws of quantum physics. Thoughts are quantum information. Along with space, time, matter and energy, the mind is another basic element of the world. Viewed through the eye of quantum physics, the observers - entrepreneurs, managers, employees - create their own reality anew out of countless possibilities and probabilities, through the collapse of the wave function. The business itself is responsible for what it is and is dependent on the decisions it makes.

Human Psyche

Thus, everything begins in the mind and the principle of cause and effect continues. So it seems even more important that we are able to find our way around the labyrinth of the human psyche - our own and the psyche of our business. Our psyche is not a machine. This is demonstrated further in the variability, complexity and unpredictability of the human psyche. It is subject to constant fluctuations and moods, and consists of purely subjective perceptions and feelings, inner contradictions and dichotomy.

We need to research the inner world of the individual and the larger inner world of the business. Find out who the main voices in the overall picture of the psyche and in the corporate business are. What is the archetypical construction of the "inner team" of the psyche? Who is in the seat of power, who is a booster, controller, perfectionist or complainer? First it is necessary to recognize and understand the identification in order to dissolve it and re-program it in a subsequent step. Like in any other flowing system, the dynamics of your psyche, your mind and of your business are subject to change.

Corporate Success: Performance - Fun- Learning

Therefore, mind and psyche are inseparably tied to our performance, achievements and success. Whatever we think about these three aspects, this is how it will manifest in reality. The business creates its own reality - surroundings, clients, employees, success, profit, loss, growth, stagnation, simply everything.

We live in a profit-oriented society and strive for growth, thus performance is very important. But are performance, profit and costs, the so-called "hard facts", the only desirable goals of a business? Or may other goals also be strived for in professional life - maybe fun, happiness or enjoyment? Can they also be seen as separate goals or are they simply a by-product of efficiency, a sales increase and a lowering of costs in a business? What goal would you choose yourself, taking into consideration that you spend more than 10 hours of your day at and with work? Irrespective of your answer, it is a fact that during the course of your work day and your professional life you will find yourself somewhere between agony and ecstasy, oscillating between them. It is human nature to rather strive for experiences and moments filled with fun, fulfillment and happiness, rather than hard performance goals. Therefore, per definitionem, we should also be able to see fun and enjoyment as desirable goals in a business context. In this context there is another, third key factor - organizational learning. Learning and success/performance equally affect each other. Learning is the ability to make it possible for businesses and the people working in them to adapt to shifts and changes.

Performance, enjoyment and learning are in a triangular relationship, mutually affecting each other and are significant cause variables of the business. Maintaining constant performance of a business for a longer period of time will only be possible if there is joy and learning on the part of the employees and the leading team. Work without motivation from within or the possibility of personal involvement will soon see individual performance plummet. It is apparent how important joy and learning are with regard to the performance and success of a business! These in turn are related to the individual psyche, mind and attitude.

Input

Positive psychology, mental training, visualization techniques, affirmations, findings from other humanities

How does the mind influence matter? How do I work with the mental world? Ordering from the universe? What is energy? How does energy work? How strong is my mental power? How can I influence my company goals mentally? Re-program the brain? What dogmas do I believe in? What do I deem to be true? Doable? Realizable? Boundaries? What dogmas stand in the way of my goal? Limit it? Support it? What is the inter-connection between my psychological state, my mind and my performance? Triangle performance, enjoyment, learning? Law of Cause and Effect? Spiritual laws? Law of Attraction? Resonance? Resilience? What are the components of my psyche? What are my building blocks? My inner team, my leading voices? Archetypes? Those of the business?

From a pragmatic point of view, we will identify the harmful input on the business and its employees, determine its effects, so that we can then find the new corrective input, rewire the brains of employees and the business and remove the hindrance. If the employees or the business identify with something too much, it could be problematic because identification usually means lopsidedness and every occurrence of lopsidedness of or in the business has its price. The business does not stand in its full strength, power or potential. By letting go and allowing renewal to take place, space, freedom and success can develop.
